As the Project Manager, River Village Carpenters recently completed a total renovation of a former 1864 Newburyport schoolhouse and converted it to six condominiums. The work included replacement of the plumbing, heating, cooling, electrical, and alarm systems. New windows and doors were fitted throughout. A new three-level exterior deck with a central staircase was constructed using all outdoor-grade materials supported on continuous steel columns. The condominium interiors received new kitchens, ceramic tiled bathrooms, and a combination of new and restored original woodwork and hardwood floors.
Our role included guidance on project planning, design, marketing, and working with condominium buyers through the selection of their finishing options.
